I’m rereading The Artist’s Way - first time was 20 years ago. I think I may be more ready for it now. And your story about the relative telling your daughter about how she would be an artist “one day” reminded me of the time my uncle discouraged me from writing a book when I was a little girl because I didn’t know how much work writing a book would be and only adults can write books. Every party needs a pooper 😝
